“Derby” the dog started life out being born with deformed front legs and couldn’t run or play with other dogs as easily as he should. Most solutions such as “doggy carts” and other mobility devices for handicapped dogs don’t always cut it for each dog. With the latest 3D printing, “Derby” was able to receive a pair of brand new front prosthetics that catered to his specific needs.

It’s truly incredible how “Derby” is able to adapt so well to these designed prosthetics and run around and be happy as a dog should. We’ll be able to see even more of similar stories as improvements are made with 3D printing in the near future.
